A Few More Summer Pictures

Making butter for Pioneer Day

Eliora and Audrey had girl's camp at Cloudcroft in New Mexico. I wasn't there this year but made the food for them to take.

We have a membership to the local swimming pool. We spent a lot of afternoons there.

Mutual Nights. This one was Spa Night. Allison Brown is doing Eliora's make-up here.

Audrey relaxing her eyes with cucumbers

The fundraiser for girl's camp this year.

Eliora, Audrey, and their friend Kylee drying cars

We had the Jacksons move into our ward this year. Turns out they lived in China with Grandma and Grandpa Davis. They were nice enough to bring the youth pizza at the fundraiser.

We put in garden boxes on the side of the house and next to the fort. The plants were a little too rigorous, especially when we left for Utah. We had cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries, cucumber, onions, tomatoes, and I know not what.

Hannah likes warm weather.

Sadie fixing the grass with dad.

Digging out stumps

Audrey got inspired by her G.G.'s artwork when we went to California earlier in the year. She has been looking up youtube  tutorials ever since.

Summer Trip to Utah 2015

This summer we spent some time in Utah at Grandma and Grandpa Roundy's house. Dad drove us up and we drove back down, staying with Grandpa Roundy on the way. Right before we left The Ivanovsky Family stopped by Midland on their family trip. When we got to Utah we found out they were also there. I wish I would have taken pictures. Since losing Emma I have learned how important it is to record those moments in life that we live for. The Ivanovskys came over for a night of pizza and hanging out. It was the last time we saw Emma. I am so incredibly grateful for my mom for having such an amazing and open heart. When we found out that Paul and Tiffany were in Utah with their 7 kids and 1 extra she knew that meant opening up her home to not only them but Tyler and Bregelle as well. That is a lot of people to have over last minute but she never batted an eye. That is who she is. Thank you mom. I hope someday I can be even a little bit like you.
Audrey got a perm before we went to Utah. Last year she got it straightened before we left.
Dad had to buy a brisket from Texas and freeze it. He was worried Utah wouldn't know what a good brisket is!

The rest of these pictures are in no particular order. We had a blast. Ryan was home and Grandma's house is just relaxing, fun, and well... awesome!

Do you want to paint? Sure! Do you want a popsicle? Sure! There are no rules here!!

Getting ready for the 4th of July. The girls made adorable shirts.  We watched the fireworks from Uncle Bob's (Dustin's) backyard. His neighbors have a fireworks display right before the ones at Thanksgiving point go off. It makes for a very surround sound night with only a little ash falling from the sky.

Mad Hatter Tea Party. Pinkies up!

Penguins and sharks at the aquarium with Uncle Ryan!
Life is tough at Grandma's house. This is a face messager..on a warm bed...with a sucker. Poor Hannah, life is hard!

Playing cards

Grandma Becky Roundy

Uncle Ryan and his work space on the back hill. Stuff is all over because we were "helping" him clean it out and organize.

The greenhouse with the pool. See the rainbow?

Abby is a little worn out from swimming, running around the acre yard, baking, playing Puzzle Fighter, and eating how much candy????!!!!

Uncle Ryan put a Koi Pond in right before we got there. The girls got to help pick out the Koi. A couple of times the filter moved or something like that and the girls had to dive in the re-adjust it. Sadie has to earn those suckers somehow!

Eliora

Eliora and Audrey made props and put on a treasure hunt/fairy story for the little girls to do. The dragon that Audrey made roared out from the bushes at the end and the girls had to fight him to win the final prize!
Audrey in her Sunday best

Eliora looking adorable

Eliora would rather read then have her picture taken and Audrey would rather draw

Both of them would actually rather just be goofy!

Our sanctuary

Eliora is still reading

And trying to not get annoyed at her sisters who keep interrupting

It is difficult when you get so involved and then.....one of your favorite characters die. Tears were shed. She needed chocolate. Slowly, she recovered.

Uncle Ryan is a really good sport. Sadie is painting his nails.

Grandma dyed her feet blue trying an internet trick with Lysterine that is suppose to take dead skin cells off. We decided she needed nails to match!

Abby LOVES Grandma Roundy. Her whole year is spent waiting to go see her again.  We think it's because she swims with her and lets her bake.

Sometimes you need a little color!

Goofy Kids

Swimming everyday never gets old

Caught licking the batter!

This kid is so freaking photogenic
and pretty it kills me. Dad is going to be in a lot of trouble when these girls hit dating age!

Too much fun?

Getting to see Uncle Tyler and Aunt Bregelle Davis is icing on the cake. They come over to play games and do arts and crafts. We loved it when they moved to Salt Lake!

There are always birds, deer, squirrels, and who knows what that live around Grandma's house.

Uncle Ryan on the tractor. We just missed the raspberries but enjoyed veggies from the garden. Eliora bit into an apricot and found a bug.

When Uncle Ryan makes pancakes.
Happy Times!
They wear us out though
