Eliora's First Formal

Got the hair done, bought the shoes....right, need to eat. 

Took pictures by the front door. I need to learn about lighting and positioning and all that. We were in a hurry but I still think she looked amazing!

A lady in our ward, Kira Wiedrich, styled her hair today. Mom did light, natural makeup (so dad wouldn't freak) and Audrey picked the earring out. It was a group effort :)

We took a lot of these. Eli awesomely photobombed a bunch of them in the back. Just two more years Elinor! 

Shout out to this girl! She babysat off and on for about 8 hours today while I was crazily running Eliora and Sadie back and forth to various things and she even cleaned up in the process. Then she helped Eliora get ready for the big night. Sisters are awesome!!

Sadie's 10th Birthday Party

Sadie wanted a Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Narnia, Percy Jackson, The Hobbit party which is quite a mouthful so we decided to just theme it with: Sadie's Fantasy Party! This would have been way more stressful with New Beginnings this week and a whole slew of other stuff but luckily Sadie has an amazing dad and sisters who got into it and really helped out :)

The front door. Dad and Eliora made the Tardis and outlined the dragon and Audrey added all the details inside and colored it in.

Audrey made the awesome sorting hat and took the white balloons left over
from last night and drew owls on them to put on top of the
whiteboard.

Sadie and her friend from school 

For Christmas Eliora got party lights that dance to music. We put on 'Into the Woods' Soundtrack since all the kids at Sadie's school have been learning the songs. Dancing lights and songs everyone knew were a big hit.

I may have accidentally dyed the kids hands blue when
 they made
their "potions" or cornstarch and water. 

And.....she got a sword along
with a lot of other really cool
gifts. She decided to knight a few people.
