California - Part 4 - Beach Day!

There were a lot of pictures of the beach. Seriously, a lot of pictures. The older girls went at daybreak with Uncle Mark, Aunt Carla, and the motor home. Abby and Hannah slept in a little and came later with us. We stayed until the sun went down. Uncle Mark made tri-tip, grilled corn, and potatoes for lunch. Uncle Matt showed up (haven't seen him in ages). We thought we would have to take time to visit the pier, go for a walk, etc. to keep the girls entertained but they were happy spending the whole day in the surf. Eliora thinks boogie boarding might be the greatest sport in the world. These are very out of order but with over 1,000 to pick from I'm just glad the computer let me load these up!

Sadie, Eliora, and Audrey got to have breakfast in the motor home with Aunt Carla and Uncle Mark. 

Missy was a trooper and painted everyone's nails around lunch. While Dad was telling everyone why he is officially from English royalty Audrey painted his toenails bright pink without him noticing. 

Yep, royal bloodlines right there :)

 Abby went a little savage with the shovel. I think she spent half the day digging. She worked up a huge appetite!

Uncle Mark was awesome and took a lot of pictures for us. I love this one. Good use of the mirror!

Aunt Carla. She is fun, organized, totally chill, and is AMAZING with my kids. She is one of the women I try to emulate as a mom.

Mom and Dad decided to get involved in the boogie board action. It was a little cold but you got use to it!

Dad is body boarding, Eliora and Audrey are boogie boarding. Dad got pretty good at not having a board and everyone had contests to see who could get the closest to shore. The girls were much better at it then their parents!
